About this program
Salt intrusion, erratic monsoons and rising diesel prices are making traditional flood irrigation untenable on the coast. We help farmer groups switch to low-pressure sprinkler and drip lines, and source salt-tolerant BRRI rice varieties through the local agricultural extension office.
Equipment is owned by farmer cooperatives, not by us, and maintenance is part of the training from day one.
What we do
- Sprinkler and drip kits sized for 1–3 bigha plots
- Soil and water salinity testing twice a year
- Demonstration plots run by lead farmers in each village
