About this project
Tana-Buni began as a six-month skills training course and grew into a fully member-owned cooperative producing school uniforms, household textiles, and custom orders.
Profits are split between member income, a shared health fund, and reinvestment in machines and materials. The co-op now negotiates directly with buyers in Dhaka and Chattogram.
